Basic Breakdown of the Good Root Tech Planter

The Good Root Grow Kit is a simple system designed to make growing fresh herbs at home easy and enjoyable. It combines a thoughtfully designed planter with everything you need to start growing herbs in your own kitchen. Our goal is to make it possible for anyone to enjoy fresh herbs at home, even if you’ve never grown a plant before.

The Good Root planter is perfect for growing common kitchen herbs like basil, parsley, chives, oregano, thyme, and mint.

That said, it’s not limited to herbs. You can grow a wide variety of plants depending on your preferences. For larger plants, the grow kit works especially well as a seed starter before transferring them to a bigger pot. 

Watering needs can vary depending on the type of herb and the environment in your home, but most people find that watering every few days works well. Just check the water level indicator... if you see green, it's good to go. If you don't, time to refill.

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when it is available.

We take great care in packaging every order. If something arrives damaged, please reach out within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the item and packaging. We’ll review everything and make it right as quickly as possible.
